All Star Tournament Teams
This session provides registration for 8U, 10U, 11U and 12U tournament teams that are forming for summer tournament play. 10U, 11U and 12U teams will be SSLL teams entered into Little League Tournaments. The 8U team will be an SSYTB (Saratoga Stars) team entered into some local tournaments chosen by SSYTB.  If interest and coaching presents itself, additional teams will be created. All players interested should register and attend an assessment to demonstrate their desire to play postseason baseball and become eligible to be selected.

What about my 9U Age Player?
Interested players in that age group should register for 10U and attend that assessment. If numbers allow and we can secure coaching, we will form a 9U tournament team.

Assessment Dates and Times
In addition to this registration, the player should attend the assessment for the team(s) they are trying out for. If the player registers for multiple teams, the player should attend both assessments. As of right now assessment times are as follows.  Please arrive 20 minutes early to check in and be ready as assessments will begin promptly.

12U (Born on or after 9/1/2010) - Thursday June 1, 8:00pm to 9:15pm
11U (Born on or after 9/1/2011)- Thursday June 1, 6:45pm to 8:00pm
10U (Born on or after 9/1/2012)- Thursday June 1, 5:15pm to 6:45pm
8U (Born on or after 5/1/2014) - Sunday June 4, 6:00pm to 7:30pm

Player Selection Process for 10U/11U/12U
Player selection for the SSLL Tournament Teams (10U, 11U and 12U) will be conducted as follows...

• One manager/coach from each SSLL team in the appropriate division will be present at the assessments.
• Each will be asked to complete a ballot based on season performance, experience and attitude in addition to what they observe during the assessments.
• All registered players, whether they attend the assessment or not, can appear on a manager/coach ballot. 
• The ballots are aggregated and the results dictate the first 9 player selections.
• The All Star Team Manager chooses the remaining players, but is required to choose players that appear on at least one ballot.

Player Selection Process for 8U
Player selection for the 8U SSYTB (Saratoga Stars) Tournament Team will be conducted as follows...

• SSYTB will conduct an assessment(s) and choose the number of players desired from those that attend.
• SSYTB will arrange a makeup assessment if necessary.

The Commitment/Schedule
All Star Tournament Team participation is a commitment to attend practices and games.  Practices may begin immediately following team announcements and games will begin on or around June 25th.  The length of the tournament season is ultimately going to depend on the success of the team. The season will end anywhere from middle of July to first week in August.

Team Manager Selection Process
All Star Team Managers are chosen by a committee of board members. Interested coaches should reach out via email to saratogaspringslittleleague@gmail.com ASAP so that interviews can be arranged and decisions made prior to the assessment date.
